Who i am

Here are some details about my experience as a counsellor:

  • Completed post-graduate diploma in 2009 (Level 5)

  • Completed counselling supervision certificate in 2021 (Level 6)

  • Worked as a specialist mental health mentor for students 2021 - 2023 with UMO

  • Worked through Bupa as a therapist 2024 - present

  • Currently working at the Courtauld Institute of Art as student counsellor

Here are a few bits about me ‘non-therapy’ that you might find interesting:

  • Long-time martial artist, still keeping connected to myself and other people through the challenge of self-development via Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and wrestling. I’ve trained across the world and at many gyms in London since 2009. I’ve had more physio visits than competition wins.

  • East End resident since 2002.

  • Recovering vinyl addict, having gathering a sizeable collection, and steering clearing of adding to it successfully since the end of 2024!

  • Keen bike tinkerer, always up for a challenge, but I know when it’s time to call in the pro
